Abstract:Objective To investigate the accessibility of intervention measures of condom promotion and identify a preference for condom use among floating population in Shenzhen City so as to provide evidence for formulating intervention policies for sexually transmitted disease. Methods Convenience sampling method was used to select 364 migrants and 44 healthcare workers (HCWs) in Shenzhen City. A questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate condom promotion, offering and application, and the accessibility of each intervention measure and their preference among the migrants were evaluated. Results The offering rate of intervention measures about condom promotion was consistent with the order of the migrants’ preference, and the range of accessibility of intervention measures was between 17.6% and 55.0%. Conclusion Special attention should be paid to the accessibility of intervention measures of condom promotion among the floating population, and intervention measures with favorable and acceptable accessibility are recommended.
