Abstract:ObjectiveTo understand the quality of life and its influencing factors among workers exposed in dusts in postal industry and to provide theoretical basis for developing interventions. MethodsThe quality of life (QOL) of 456 workers in postal industry was measured with SF-36. ResultsIn the study, 456 workers were investigated which the men was accounted for 79.61%,women was accounted for 20.39%. The workers who aged 30 to 40 was majority,accounting for 81.80% in total. The median and four percentile spacing is 15 (9, 20) years in exposure time. The total score of the quality of life was 75±11.22. There were significant differences in the generalhealth dimension between workers with different age, expouse time,marriage status and sick or not (P<0·05). Life quality total score decreased with the growth of age and length of service (P<0·05).The scores of life quality for the divorced and married lower than the unmarried significantly (P<0.05), The scores of life quality for the no abnormal higher than the pneumoconiosis Multiple factor analysis showed that the expouse time which is more than 10 years and the divorced were the main risk factors which affected the quality of life. ConclusionThe life quality of workers exposed in dusts was poor .Prolonged expoused time in dust and . pneumoconiosis have important influence on the quality of life.
