Methods We collected the information regarding the cases of SARS-Cov-2 infection andtheirepidemiological investigation reports from the Information System for Infectious Disease Reporting in Manzhouli City from November 28 to December 17, 2021. The epidemiological characteristics and features of the epidemic were analyzed by Excel 2003 and SPSS19.0 software. Results A total of 548 cases were reported accumulatively in Manzhouli City from November 28 to December 17, 2021. The sex ratio of male to female was 1.03:1. The cases aged 31-60 years accounted for 51.6%. The main occupations of these cases were housework and job-waiting, student and worker. The clinical severity was mainly light (46.5%) and common types (47.6%). The initial clinical symptoms of early cases were mainly influenza-like symptoms such as cough, sore throat, running nose and fever, and had a certain degree of concealment. The vaccination rate of the cases was relatively high (90.7%), and the proportions of severe and critical cases in the non-vaccinated cases were higher than those in the vaccinated cases. Conclusion The epidemic in Manzhouli City from November 28 to December 17, 2021 was a clustered epidemic triggered by a new oversea imported source in a port city, which belonged to Delta mutant, and revealed place, family and school gathered characteristics. Vaccination can effectively reduce the clinical severity of patients with SARS-Cov-2 infection caused by the Delta variant.
