Abstract:Objective To analyze the epidemic situation and epidemiological characteristics of viral hepatitis B (hereinafter referred to as hepatitis B) in Yongzhou City from 2005 to 2022, and to provide a basis for scientific prevention and control. Methods Descriptive epidemiological methods were used to analyze the epidemiological characteristics of hepatitis B cases reported through the Chinese Disease Surveillance Information Reporting System in Yongzhou City from 2005 to 2022. Results A total of 74,778 cases of hepatitis B were reported in Yongzhou City during 2005-2022, with an annual average reported incidence rate of 77.29/100,000. The annual average reported incidence rate of acute hepatitis B was relatively low (1.83/100,000), and the fluctuation of incidence trend was not obvious. The annual average reported incidence rate of chronic hepatitis B was relatively high (57.72/100,000), showing an overall upward trend. The male to female sex ratio was 2.3:1. The annual average incidence rate of the 45-74 years age group was the highest (125.26/100,000). The incidence rates of farmers from 2009 to 2022 were relatively high, which were all more than 50%. Conclusion The reported incidence rates of chronic hepatitis B in Yongzhou City from 2005 to 2022 increased year by year. The key to controlling chronic hepatitis B is toeffectively implement the prevention and control inkey populations such as adult men and farmers and vigorously conduct health education, publicity and promotion work.
