Research progress on primary prevention of early childhood caries

Abstract:As a serious oral health problem, early childhood caries not only brings physical and mental pain to afflicted children, but also increases family and even social burden. Active prevention of early childhood caries is conducive to improving the quality of life of young children and reducing family and social burden, and primary prevention is a top priority. This paper summarizes the measures and effects of primary prevention of early childhood caries and analyzes the existing problems so as to provide a reference basis for improving, promoting and implementing primary prevention of early childhood caries and reducing its incidence rate.
