Abstract:Objective To investigate the current status of establishment and service of community-basedexpanded programme on immunization(EPI) clinics in Yunfu City, and to provide a basis for setting up standardized star-rated vaccination clinics. Methods Sixty-nine vaccination clinics in Yunfu City were evaluated by using the unified Evaluation Form for Vaccination Clinics in Guangdong Province.Results The unified evaluation form contained four subunits, with a total score of 100 points. The total score in the subunit regarding status of vaccination clinic establishment was 28.5 points, and 41 (59.42%) clinics were rated as good (scoring ≥ 22.8 points). The total score in the subunit regarding standardized management of vaccination clinics was 54.5 points, and 45 (65.22%) clinics were rated as good (scoring ≥ 43.6 points). The total score in the subunit regarding vaccination status of children was 12 points, and 62 (89.86%) clinics were rated as good (scoring ≥ 8 points). The total score in the subunit regarding service satisfaction was 5 points, and 62 (89.86%) clinics were rated as good (scoring ≥ 4 points). The star-rating Results showed that there were 5 (7.25%) clinics rated as A-class, 14 (20.29%) rated as 2A-class, and 50 (72.46%) rated as 3A-class. No clinic was reputed as 4A-class and above in Yunfu City yet. Conclusions The overall level of community-based EPI clinics in Yunfu City is good, but the construction of digitalized management system still needs to be improved. We should further improve the software and hardware facilities of community-based EPI clinics, expedite the construction of informationalized and digitalized management systems, enhance work efficiency, and promote the quality of vaccination service for children.
