Abstract:There is increasing experimental and epidemiological evidence that many kinds of endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) are contributing to metabolic syndrome. Exposure to EDCs associated with occurrence of type 2 diabetes, hypertension, obesity, polycystic ovary syndrome based on recent studies. EDCs interfere with normal functions of endocrine system which has mimic estrogenic effect mostly.producingdevelopmental, reproductive, neurological, cardiovascular, metabolic and immune effectin humans.Human expose to EDCs via consuming food, taking breathe, skin absorption in daily life whichin include bisphenol, nonyphenol, phthalates,Dixons and the likes, polychlorinated biphenyls mainly. This review focused on bisphenol A(BPA) actions of pothogenesy of type 2 diabetes, hypertension, obesity, PCOS and summarized outcomes of this field according to literatures native and abroad.
