Abstract:Objective: To master farmer workers' knowledge level of AIDS , the implementation of HIV prevention behavior motivation, behavioral skills and sexual behavior of migrant workers, To explore the applicability of the IBM model in the migrant population and the influence factors of HIV/AIDS prevention behavior. Methods: We adopt the random sampling in 21 construction sites in Harbin and survey the migrant workers anonymously with self-made questionnaire. Epidata 3.1 was used for data entry, SAS9.1 was used for sorting and analyzing data and AMOS 18 to perform SEM analysis. Results: The awareness of AIDS/HIV knowledge of the migrant workers was 58.21%. There are differences in different cultures and different degrees home address about basic knowledge of AIDS awareness. In the survey population , with a fixed number of sexual partners accounted for 82.29% , and the people who have had sex outside of a fixed number of sexual partners accounted for 17.58%.The proportion of the people who had used condom every time was 2.42% in sexual behavior with regular partner and 8.20% in sexual behavior with non-regular sex-partner. The proportion of the people who had sexual behavior with non-regular sex-partner during this outworking was 14.41%, with condom users accounted for 54%. IMB model fits well(=184.995,DF=59,NC=3.316,RMR=0.076,RMSEA=0.079,GFI=0.927,CFI=0.915). Regression coefficient on behavioral skills of Motivation was 0.634 and behavioral skills’ regression coefficient on behavior was 0.627.Regression coefficient of Information on behavioral skills and behavior had no statistically significant and the regression coefficient of motivation on behavior had no statistically significant. Conclusion: The AIDS knowledge structure of the crowd was imbalance, with high mastery levels of knowledge on AIDS transmission through blood-borne and sexual contact, with low mastery level of the knowledge on non transmission routes and prevention measure. The condom use frequency in the crowd was low. IMB model was applicable for migrant workers. Motivation and behavioral skills were the significant influence factors of AIDS prevention behavior. Behavioral skills directly affected prevention behavior and motivation indirectly affected prevention behavior through stimulating behavioral skills.
