Abstract:Objective To explore the result of different pathways of reporting in carrying out severe abnormal cases/clustering monitoring. Method Based on HIS system automatically triggered reporting, artificial trigger replace automatic trigger and retrospective alternative searching approach, monitoring work was carried out in fever, respiratory, intestinal and other outpatient departments of YangPu District Center Hospital. Results Between January to August in 2014, no cases were reported by the triggered automatically reporting way. While the number of reported cases by the artificial trigger alternative way were 84, including 59 cases with suspected severe pneumonia syndrome, 1 case with hemorrhagic colitis syndrome and 30 cases with encephalitis syndrome. 98 cases were found by retrospective searching way, including 59 cases with suspected severe pneumonia syndrome, 3 cases of suspected fever with rash syndrome, 4 cases of hemorrhagic colitis syndrome and 32 cases with encephalitis syndrome. But ultimately none of them was confirmed as severe and abnormal clinical cases/events. Conclusion To carry out monitoring work through different pathways in the treatment information electronic transition process, artificial trigger alternative report can find relevant cases timely and effectively, it is the important method for monitoring in the transformation process of information electronic.
