Abstract:Objective To understand the distribution and degree of hazard factors for occupational diseases in key industry workplaces in Puyang City, and to analyze the hazard degree of occupational diseases. Method We analyzed the monitoring data regarding hazard factors for occupational diseases in workplaces of 499 enterprises in Puyang City from 2019 to 2021. Results The 499 enterprises monitored were mainly small- and micro-scale (93.0%) and manufacturing (95.8%) industries. The disqualified rate of lead posts was the highest (68.2%), followed by noise posts (22.5%), silica dust posts (27.1%) and cement dust posts (18.7%). The disqualified rates of coal dust posts (5.3%) and benzene posts (0.8%) were the lowest. Conclusion The major occupational hazards in some enterprises have not been effectively controlled. The supervision and law enforcement efforts should have been intensified to strengthen the regulation of key industries (oil exploitation, electronic power production and supply, lead-acid battery manufacturing, etc.) and hazard factors of key occupational diseases (lead, silicon dust, noise, etc.); meanwhile, publicity, education and health promotion should be conducted to improve the detection rate of occupational hazards and the occupational health examination rate of exposed workers in small- and micro-scale enterprises, and prevent the occurrence of occupational diseases.
