Abstract:Sleep is an important physiological function that regulates body’s metabolism. Sleep time may affect the body’s autonomic nervous system, stress response, inflammatory factors, blood lipids, cardiovascular function and other physiological bases, and is closely related to obesity, diabetes mellitus, hypertension and other diseases, all of which are risk factors for coronary heart disease. Hence this paper reviews the research progress on the correlation between sleep time and pathogenic factors of coronary heart disease.
