Abstract:Objective To understand the respiratory viral pathogen of influenza-like illness(ILI) and the contribution of respiratory viral pathogens to the dynamic changes for ILI in children of Tianjin. Methods Influenza-like illness data of tianjin children’s hospital were weekly analyzed and the portion of throat swab samples of ILI were collected to detect respirovirus by multiplex PCR, including adenovirus (ADV), parainfluenza virus (PIV), flu virus (Flu), rhinovirus (RhinoV), respiratory syncytial viruses (RSV), human metapneumo virus (HMPV), coronavirus (CoV). enteroviruses(HEV) human bocavirus (HBoV) by multiplex PCR. A grey correlation analysis methods was used to assess the contribution of respiratory viruses to the dynamic changes of ILI% in influenza and non-influenza season. Results The positive respiratory viruses of patients were 56.49%. Flu was predominant in respirovirus and the proportion was 39.15%.Grey correlation degree showed that flu and all respirovirus were most influencing factors on weekly ILI% in flu season and non-flu season, with the correlation degree 0.871 and 0.884 respectively. Conclusion All types of respirovirus were detected from ILI in children. Dynamic changes of ILI% were mainly due to Flu in flu season.
